About CLT India: Children’s LoveCastles Trust (CLT India) is a non-profit, non-government organization that has worked since 1997 to support and empower teachers and students in underserved communities. Our approach is to use technology to create, enhance and monitor the delivery of education in an affordable, scalable and modular manner. Our flagship project, e-Patashale, uses curricula-aligned multimedia content in regional languages to support the state-board syllabus. In rigorous scientific evaluations, e-Patashale has led to a two-fold learning improvement in English test scores and increased engagement between students and teachers. Our repository of over 20,000 videos has already reached over 12,000 government school classrooms and has impacted over 2 million students so far. The CLT e-Patashale content is available in English, Hindi & Kannada languages and replication in Marathi has also commenced. CLT is investing heavily in scaling to other parts of India and is putting together a self-driven team that brings in the right expertise to make this possible.
Roles and Responsibility:
- Plan and conceptualize creative collaterals by studying relevant information and materials.
- Develop and illustrate design concepts by creating rough layouts for approval, including arrangement, size, typography, style, and overall aesthetics.
- Obtain approval of concepts by presenting rough layouts and incorporating feedback.
- Conduct research and formulate engaging design concepts for Early Grade Reading (EGR) storyboards.
- Design interactive modules for concept videos, letter animations, and scene animations.
- Create and design user interfaces and content slides for mobile applications.
- Manage and maintain all creative assets, ensuring timely availability when required.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors/technicians to ensure timely project completion.
- Develop creatives for social media promotions to support outreach and engagement.
- Design and update visuals for webpages, blogs, and newsletters.
- Update branding and marketing materials as needed.
- Ensure consistency in visual communication in alignment with the organization’s Brand Manual.
- Contribute to overall team goals by supporting related creative and communication tasks as required.
Skills Required:
- Strong graphic design skills with a creative mindset
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), CorelDRAW, etc.
- Experience with desktop publishing tools and graphic design software
- Strong layout design and analytical skills
- Creative, flexible, and adaptable to changing requirements
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Skills in video editing, illustration, and animation
- Ability to create storyboards and visual concepts
- Strong research and development skills for design concepts
- High attention to detail and deadline-oriented approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design/animations/motion graphics or any other equivalent courses
- Experience: Fresher or 1-2 years of industry experience
